Christophe lived in Rwanda. He had to move to England because of the war. On his first day at school some of the children called him names because the book he was reading had only pictures in it. He couldn’t read. His grandfather believed stories should be told not written. He called the bullies ‘the rats’. One day Christophe fell in the playground and some children noticed a scar on his belly. Christophe told them this was from a bullet.
Once there was a boy called Christophe who lived in Rwanda. There was a civil war going on in his own country and he got shot in the hip by a soldier. His parents were worried so he moved to England. He lives with his Mum and Dad. He goes to school and his teacher is Miss Finch. His friend is Greg and his enemies are Jeremy and the rats, his gang. Jeremy is mean to him and Christophe tries to defend himself. In class Miss Finch videos him telling his life story in front of the class.
Christophe is a boy from Rwanda who left his country because there was fighting. He starts school in England and at first he finds it difficult to make friends. He thinks books shouldn’t be written because where he came from they didn’t write books. The teacher wrote Christophe’s story down on paper but Christophe was angry. After a fight in the playground in which a boy was calling him names he shows his scars to his classmates and explains what it was like where he came from. All his classmates listen to his story.
This is a story of a boy called Christophe who moved away from Rwanda to England because of the war. At his new school he met a boy called Jeremy who kept bullying him. He did cruel things to him like putting worms in his spaghetti and also said some very nasty things to him such as ugh thats a babies book.
there are also some bullies who are nicknamed the 3 rats. Christophe had some problems with his teacher (Mrs Finch) when she handed him a book as he didn’t believe stories should be written down. One day he reacted to Jeremy and punched him.
when he was playing football he got hit with the ball and fell over. His t-shirt and vest lifted up and revealed his scar from a bullet!
Christophe is a boy from Rwanda in Africa who has to leave because of the civil war. There are 3 rats who keep bullying him and calling him names. In Africa, they believe stories should not be written down so all the books just look like squiggly lines. In Africa, people get bullied because of the colour of their skin and sometimes because of their religion. Christophe gets upset because the teacher, Mrs. Finch, wrote his story down but he didn’t want her to. Then he starts talking about his babi who is still in Rwanda suffering the civil war.

Christophe is a young, talented boy. He was sad about having a war in Rwanda which is in Africa. He had to leave his friends like Babi and Nmunga and lots of people he loves. At least he has his Mama and Papa. Christophe moved to England and went to a new school, he made a new friend called Greg. They play a lot of football together, but then 4 unfriendly, mean bullies hate Christophe. Christophe ends up punching the main one, Jeremy! Jeremy ended up sort of not bad, because he likes Christophe’s story about Rwanda! The End!

Christophe lived in Rwanda, Africa when there was a civil war. Soldiers came to the house killed his baby brother Matieu and took his dad. There was a boy called Christophe and he lived in Rwanda but sadly he had to move to England. It was hard for Christophe because he had not been to school for a long time. Then a mean boy started to bully him he said that the book with no pictures in it was a baby’s book and put worms in his lunch. The next day the bully Jeremy circled him and made him feel uncomfortable so he punched Jeremy in the lip. He never bullied him again. Christophe was playing football with his friend greg but all of a sudden he fell over, all the children saw his scar and asked what it was so he explained how he was burned with a bullet. The next day miss finch asked him to stay in for a minute so she could talk about the bullet, miss finch was writing it down but Christophe got mad because he believed that stories should be told not written down So miss finch let Christophe tell his story to the whole class.
