National Waterways Museum

Year 4 spent today in Ellesmere Port at the National Waterways Museum. In the morning, the children were split into two groups to attend workshops on geology and forces. Both of these were fantastic learning experiences, led by the superb volunteers. After dinner, we had the opportunity to explore the site on our own, discovering all about the history of canals and the boats that use them. Every single child was a credit to Woodfield. Well done Y4!

  1. I really enjoyed going to the National Waterways Museum. My favourite part was making a fossil because it was fun and I have never made one before.

  2. I loved National waterways museum. My favourite part was when we went to look at the olden days homes. In 2 of them there were sheds with a hole in and a dirty, mouldy bucket.
